FAQs

  • Delivery Times

We endeavour to deliver your jewellery to you as soon as possible. If we have the item in stock, such as an antique piece or a diamond piece which needs alteration to size, then it will be posted to you within 48 hours by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

If we have an item in stock, such as an antique or a diamond piece which does not require alteration, it will be posted to the registered address of the payment card within 48 hours of purchase.

Bespoke pieces tend to take a little longer. We generally quote 4-6 weeks for custom-made jewellery, depending on stone sourcing, CAD design and the casting process. We always endeavour to meet any time restrictions.

  • Returns & Refunds

Refunds will only be permitted if an item is proved to be faulty. We will also exchange for a preferred item within 14 days of purchase

  • Warranty Guarantees

We provide a one year warranty on all our jewellery.

  • Jewellery Cleaning

The purchase of your item of jewellery is the beginning of your journey with Trinity Goldsmiths. We clean and check your jewellery free of charge forever. We recommend that your jewellery is seen by us at least twice a year so we can examine the security of claws, make sure the stones are fully secure and return it to you in pristine condition.

All metal is polished and the item is then placed in our industrial ultra sonic cleaner. Please be aware that rhodium plating for white gold that has become discoloured over time is a specialised and chargeable service.

  • Re-sizing

When a ring is purchased from us, we re-size it free of charge within 4 weeks of purchase. Ideally, we like to measure the finger ourselves so we can achieve the correct fit. However, customers can advise of the size required and, if wrong, the next sizing is chargeable.

  • Part-exchange

We provide a service whereby we will take an item previously purchased from us and allow all the moneys paid for it against an item that is worth twice the amount of the original purchase price or more.

For example, if you purchase a ring for £1,000 and ten years later would like to upgrade it, if you purchase a ring for £2,000 or more, you will be given the original £1,000 allowance on part-exchange towards the upgrade.

  • Finance Options

We accept payment by cash and all major credit/debit cards.

  • Insurance Valuations

As a Fellow of the Institute of Registered Valuers and holder of the 2015 Wilkins Valuer of the Year Trophy, Mr Graham Charles Price is our resident insurance valuer. The valuation is a comprehensive document providing all relevant information and photographs of the item of jewellery necessary for insurance. We currently have a waiting list for our insurance valuation service so please call 0115 9475052 for details.
